Procurement of Battery-Operated Emergency Rescue Tools (Jaws of Life)

The RM of Argyle is inviting sealed technical and financial tenders for the supply and delivery of next-generation, battery-operated vehicle extrication equipment. All proposed equipment must be cordless, emission-free, and capable of heavy-duty operations without external hydraulic pumps or hoses.
1. Required Technical Specifications
Bidders must supply the exact equipment requested by the Baldur-Argyle Fire Department. No brand or model substitutions will be accepted:
A. Core Extrication Tool Package
- 1x Holmatro PSP40 Pentheon GEN2 Battery-Powered Spreader
- Must feature intelligent energy management and variable speed control.
- 1x Holmatro PCU50 Pentheon GEN2 Battery-Powered Cutter
- Must feature specialized modern vehicle geometry (U-shaped blades) designed for high-strength steel pillars.
- 1x Holmatro PTR50 Pentheon GEN2 Battery-Powered Telescopic Ram
- High-tonnage capacity extension ram optimized for cross-ramming and dashboard displacement.
B. System Accessories & Integration
- 1x Dedicated Ram Extension Pipe (Compatible with the telescopic ram profile above)
- 1x Short Auxiliary Extension Pipe
- 5x High-Capacity Lithium-Ion Batteries (Minimum 8Ah, Smart-charging capable, IP68 waterproof rating required)
- 3x Rapid AC Battery Chargers
- 3x On-Tool Charging Cords (Allowing direct charging of batteries while mounted in apparatus brackets)
2. Submission Instructions
Bidders must submit pricing for each item and include all applicable delivery and freight costs FOB Baldur, MB, as well as the estimated delivery time. Prices must include all applicable taxes.
