Picture sitting around a campfire with Jonathan Byrd, Ivan Coyote & Crys Matthews, swapping songs and the stories behind them - that is what this show will be like, full of clever storytelling, hope-fueled and love-filled songs. As Ivan describes the show ‘Audiences will feel like you are sitting around a campfire with the midnight sun just skimming the tops of the pine trees and the lake calm like glass beside you. At some point in the night the you will hear a story that rattles a story ghost loose in your own chest - a story of how a broken father passes cracks onto his children, a story that conjures up and honours a beloved grandmother, a story that speaks to and celebrates the misfit in all of us.’

Thursdays -  May 13 & June 24, 2021

Tickets Available Now - Scaled Ticket Pricing For All, starting at $10 per ticket!

Proudly presented by Home Routes: Your Next Haircut with Corin Raymond. Live from Hamilton, ON, this will be Corin’s SECOND solo performance since all our screens turned into stages. Our two remaining shows are on May 13th and June 24th. With roughly six weeks between them, your upcoming Corin Raymond-fix will sneak up like your next haircut. Full disclosure: Corin doesn’t know a blessed thing about cutting hair, but he does know how to sing melancholic ballads that can turn sorrows into celebrations! As the 214 people who managed by modern miracle to all be in the front row for the last one will attest, these Haircuts are also just a fantastic excuse to commune with a gang of hearts like yourselves, to glow together like the Cameron House on a Thursday night, and be united by song like the Whos in Whoville. Corin suggests you bring a friend on May 13th for joyful reasons exactly like these ones.

We're excited to announce that our General Manager, Ava Kobrinsky, is the recipient of the Slaight Music Unsung Hero Award for the 2021 Canadian Folk Music Awards (CFMAs). Home Routes / Chemin Chez Nous acknowledges that we operate on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Ininew and Dakota peoples, and on the homeland of the Metis nation. We have produced thousands of concerts across Canada, a land home to well over 600 First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities.

Since its inception in 2007, Home Routes/Chemin Chez Nous has received consistent funding from the
Canada Council for the Arts, Canadian Heritage, Manitoba Sport, Culture and Heritage, FACTOR, Manitoba Arts Council, Province of Manitoba Bridge Grant Program, and SOCAN Foundation for which we are eternally grateful. Without their support this wonderful program would not be possible.

Home Routes/Chemin Chez Nous was incorporated as a not-for-profit arts organization in February of 2007 to create new performance opportunities for French and English speaking musicians and audiences in rural, remote and urban communities across Canada, hosted by volunteers in their homes and other community venues. We present the annual Winnipeg Crankie Festival and the Home Routes Online live shows. Follow Home Routes on Twitter or Instagram  @homeroutes or “like” on Facebook.
